The thing I enjoyed about this band the most aside from Deathbringer From The Sky which is the greatest folk metal song known to man, was the hot keyboardist who left. I am curious about this, especially the cover song with "a very special guest". I will bust out the leather and chainmail, proceeding to throw a pagan ceremony in the woods behind my house, drinking nothing but Haandbryggeriet Norwegian Wood while slaying some rabbits and otters for an epic feast.

Ensiferum sure is yummy. Another exciting album to come out this year. Borknagar, Anata, Gorod, now this. It'll make the disappointing releases of 2008 worth it.

It seems the Scandinavians, as potent musicians as they are, tend to be sidetracked by constantly getting hammered. Case in point, Skyfire's fucking ghost album that was supposed to be out a long fucking time ago.

Sounds awesome. Am I invited?

I never really listened to Victory Songs. Ensiferum without Jari just isn't right to me. Anyway, I think I'll definitely give this a spin upon release.

And yeah, the keyboardist was hot as hell. I was disappointed that she didn't play with them live. Viking chicks FTW!This Message Edited On 04.23.09
