British gothic metal act PARADISE LOST have confirmed that Adrian Erlandsson (Cradle Of Filth, The Haunted, At The Gates) will be their new full-time drummer! Noooooooooooooooo! The guy made CoF songs boring! Do you understand we're talking about CoF! The albums he was on sucked already (ok not Midian) and he somehow made them worse. Now he's with a band that I really like and I can't see any good coming from this...

since I don't really listen to CoF and ATG then i'm not too familiar with him, but if you say that he is a proffesional at making things bad and he's now in Paradise Lost then noooooo!!!!!!!
|
| |
I really don't think Adrian is that bad, but he's definitely nothing great. Haven't heard much Paradise Lost, but I'm sure he won't make them any better or worse.

Paradise Lost don't play fast music like CoF. So you have to think about the slower sections of any CoF song and remember how shit he was during those times and then realize that's all he'll be playing now.

Paradise Lost is really good, can't say that for CoF though and apparently, as Willie said, he managed to make CoF worse. Now that is sadThis Message Edited On 03.16.09

Great band, great drummer. I don't analyze music all that much so it's great news to me.

I over-analyze music and musician changes when it comes to my favorite bands. This doesn't look good.

thought it might've been Beelzebub or Mammon to be honest.
|
| |
What the hell does that even mean?

You forget this guy was in At The Gates.

I don't remember him being all that good with them either. He was more interesting, but even then it was mostly repetitive pounding without any variation.

Willie, it was a really nerdy english joke, reffering to the actual Paradise Lost, as in the epic poem by John Milton. It was pretty bad if you ask me. The joke, not the poem. This Message Edited On 03.17.09
