The intro to The New clear reminds me instantly of Meshuggah's Combustion which in turn reminds me of Tool. Album is damn good 5 songs in.

album picks up halfway through
singer kinda imitates Blood Mountain's vocal performance in some places, or that's just what it sounds like to me

It's actually not that bad. I do sort of the that Blood Mountain singing vibe though, Jack. His voice has always sounded like that though...guess it shows a bit better here.

Constitution of Treason was very hit and miss for me, while this sounds a lot more matured and generally more consistent. I like it.
