I wonder if I might be "motivated" to review this on the weekend.
and here comes Willie's applauding review.....

Ok, I just listened to it now since I didn't have to work. They did a great job on their cover of "Ordinary World" by Duran Duran, and the closing track was fantastic. Overall, it's a pretty solid rock album. I just wish it was a bit longer instead of 10 songs. This Message Edited On 02.04.09This Message Edited On 02.04.09

@Ninjuice: I don't know if you meant that in a shitty way, but you're right. I do have a review for this ready (we got an advance weeks ago), and it is an 'applauding' review because it's a great album.

I didn't mean it "in a shitty way" but I just needed to click on the album and see your rating. This might be good (3.5 at best) but I highly doubt they've improved to what I deem a 4.

Oh ok. Depending on how you felt about the first one, there's a very good chance they haven't progressed to a 4. Have you heard it yet?

not yet. I'm trying to download it since I doubt the stream will work well for me.

listened to it-certainly better than their debut. Functions kinda like end of silence pt. 2 but much better.

It's intriguing because they really do sound like a gazillion bands out there but they stick out with the touch of strings. However I get frustrated listening because I feel like the music is still missing something. Like there are moments listening to it that it's just like incredibly awesome...otherwise it only seems decent or average.

I'll let it grow on me a bit more

Actually fairly good. More or less it's End of Silence pt. 2, but tighter and shorter than before. Likely a high 3 or low 3.5.

There's something about this band that just catches my attention despite the fact that they're not all that different than anyone else. Whatever it is that caught my attention on the first album, there's more of it on this one. That's the best way for me to put it.This Message Edited On 02.05.09
