Long overdue update...
Hey dudes,
Laura here giving you an overdue update. First off, thanks so much to everyone that has been adding me and sending overwhelmingly nice messages! The feedback on “Stormchaser” has been amazing, and myself as well as the rest of LTC are really proud of that album, and so happy that you guys enjoy it.
I have been getting a ton of messages inquiring about my next musical endeavor. I’ve told some of you that Ben and I are starting a new punk project that will be quite different from Light This City, but badass nonetheless. I’m sure some of you will love it and some of you will hate it, but I’m having the time of my life practicing guitar and actually singing this time around. It’s the music a big part of me has been wanting to play since I was 15, and now I’m finally doing it! Ben and I are demoing 4 songs in a few weeks, and if it turns out well enough, we might put up a song or two! If not, it will have to wait until the summer when we actually track a full length. I hope you guys will like it and I really do appreciate your interest in my musical future.
Lastly, I still get questions about Light This City and why we broke up. If you didn’t read the press release back in June, you can check it out at the Light This City myspace in the blogs section. The band was a big part of my life and it was hard to say goodbye, but I feel extremely fulfilled with my life as of now, and excited about the music to come.
If you haven’t already, go pick up “Stormchaser” in stores now, or online at the Prosthetic Records website. Thanks again, and you’ll be hearing from me soon! -Laura "

| | | Stormchaser had some great riffs but Laura's vocals totally ruined it.Hopefully LTC will get a better vocalist now.As for this new project, well I hope her singing is better than her screeching.
