New Decrepit Birth Album

2009-01-22 by asdemonsburn | 16 Comments
California tech-death band DECREPIT BIRTH are in pre-production mode for their third full-length album titled Polarity. This will be the band’s first release on Nuclear Blast Records and is tentatively set for a Summer 2009 release date. Polarity will contain 9 songs.

New song titles so far include “Life Cycles”, “Sea of Memories”, “Symbiosis”, “Beyond Eternity” and “Mirroring Dimensions” among others. Production and tracking will once again be handled by guitarist Matt Sotelo at his own Legion Studios, with mixing duties to be taken care of by Zach Ohren (ALL SHALL PERISH, DEEDS OF FLESH), who mixed their latest release Diminishing Between Worlds.

They already play "Symbiosis" live, and its definitely some of their best stuff they've written

Hopefully it will be just as good as Diminishing Between Worlds, which is a pretty great album.

Nice I liked both And Time Begins and DBW, but DBW appealed to me a bit more, so i'm assuming that they'll go along those same lines and come out with a great piece of work.

I bet it'll be just as wanky and directionless as DBW

Yeah man, the bassist went nuts during "Symbiosis" when I saw them live, so it'll be awesome to hear it on the CD. I'm definitely stoked for this. 2009 is shaping up pretty damn well for tech death I must say. If only Anata would get their Swedish asses in gear.

^^^And Gorod. They're considered tech death too right? I just remembered.

They're easily my favorite death metal band.

And Necrophagist is supposed to come out with a new album this year too.

True dat, AngelPheonix. Leading Visions is a really sweet album, but I personally prefer Anata. Muhammed Sulchez is also supposed to be releasing an album with former drummer Marco Minnemann, who's apparently a fucking beastmancer at guitar too. This year is definitely looking pretty promising for fans of the genre.
