Flight 666 sounds like another 9/11 movie.

Hurray! It's always good to hear from the best metal band in the world
I was on the first leg, maybe I'll be on it!

This is awesome. I was at their Madison Square Garden show in June.
not this gay *** KSE,Underoath,A7X
What's wrong with any of these bands?
Digging: Between The Buried And Me - The Great Misdirect

well first of all KSE and A7X suck
secondly ill probably see this even though they aren't as good live as they were in the 80s
Digging: Converge - Petitioning The Empty Sky

I disagree. I'd argue they sound just as good as they sounded in the 80's. With the addition of their third guitarist, their songs sound much better live as well.
|
| |
Bf ftw! Saw them in June as well. One of the highlights of 2008 music wise for me.

i'm usually of the school of thought that "small club shows = awesome, stadiums = no connection, boring shite," but these guys are a massive exception.
i saw them when they were touring AMOLAD and playing the whole album through, and i have NEVER seen a band with such amazing stage presence and technical ability. they actually outdid the recordings by a long shot.
needless to say, i'm absolutely gonna go see this!

Legends. I may even buy it on DVD!
Digging: Jesu - Silver

Wonder if it will be very commercial or more of a festival movie

The picture will show frontman Bruce Dickinson fly the band between dates on their customized Boeing 747 jet, christened Ed Force One after the band's graphic mascot, Eddie.
ffffff

"secondly ill probably see this even though they aren't as good live as they were in the 80s"
no way man. when bruce sung aces high in melbourne, I could almost believe it was 1984!

It actually WAS 1984. Bruce Dickinson hit notes so high that the time-space continuim was shattered, and for a few seconds the world skipped back to the 80's.
I remember the time distinctly, as I felt the uncontrollable urge to spin a Paula Abdul cd and play Qbert.

potentially the best movie ever made in the history of mankind.

They sound phenominal, AAMOF I think Bruce even sings better. I saw them in Jersey a while back and they were absolutley mind blowing. It was my first time seeing them though. Only thing though, Nicko simplified a bit of his drumming, but ill cut him slack he is 50 something years old.

Apparently quite a few of us on this thread have been to the same show!
|
| |
What Jersey show? I saw them in Camden in June at the Susquhenna and it was a trip.

"potentially the best movie ever made in the history of mankind."
I pretty much agree, exept it has to be better than the 60's batman movie starring adam west!
HOLY IRON MAIDEN BATMAN!

on their customized Boeing 747 jet, christened Ed Force One
haha, this pretty much sums up why I always have some big problems actually liking them.

This could become a great video. I must see Maiden live sometime.

You have Maiden stuff everywhere and you haven't seen them live!? Man I feel sorry for you.
|
| |
Yeah, I'm dying to see them, but their tour scheme hasn't been exactly combined with a place close enough to where I live.
