I understand their anger because they've pretty much been universally panned and ridiculed, but they're still so pretentious and insulting toward their fanbase. What they don't realize is that we don't hate it because of clean vocals (I like lots of metal bands with clean vocals that do it well). They just wrote shitty songs with poorly placed and sucky clean choruses. An obvious attempted cash-in and everyone knows it.

Yeah I'm definently gonna say that deathcore fits the genre definition then trend. It is a category of an artistic endeavor (in this case metal) that follows a particular form or technique.

Talk about a misinterpretation. I was saying that if Cryptopsy's new album isn't a deathcore album then give me an example of a band that is deathcore. And Mr. Webster can kiss my ass. Deathcore is most definitely a trend. I bet nobody here can give definite genre traits for deathcore. Sure, I can give some traits of the trend itself, but many could argue that those could apply to regular death metal or whatever.

Of course it's a genre!!! It's like superduper originial with the traits of death metal and metalcore which leads to an INCREDIBLE refreshing genre.
Also, Cryptopsy should become less arrogant and understand that bad album resluts in bad ratings.

Lol, the caps are suppost to be immature and rediculous because its not something I am saying. The assumption is based off you sitting here telling me deathcore which is a type of metalcore isnt a genre. Namecalling won't prove your point.
