New Death Cab For Cutie Single 2008-06-27 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 5 Comments | Death Cab For Cutie will follow up the monster 'I Will Possess You' single with the release of 'Cath...' next month.
The single's UK release date has been set as July 21, with a digital release preceding it by a week, coinciding with a series of tour dates in Europe and the UK, culminating in a headlining appearance at the Latitude Festival.

I'm surprised the label chose Cath over the poppier (and better) No Sunlight. No Sunlight seems so much more radio-friendly.
| | | Hm...Cath is one of my favorites from the disc. And those no telling what the band may or may not release as a third single...I think Grapevine Fires is the best choice.
Is I Will Possess Your Heart really a "monster" single? It's done relatively well (especially with the polarizing effect the song has had on some people; I think it's their best single yet), but I surely wouldn't call it massive.
Still, I think Cath could have an interesting video treatment.
