Arsis Announce New Drummer 2008-06-03 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 10 Comments | Arsis have discontinued their relationship with drummer Darren Cesca, who drummed on the band's recent album We Are The Nightmare, and have hired Alex Tomlin of Richmond, VA metal band Battlemaster.

I'm sure that they will. Cesca's drum kit had a lot of piccolo snares and a billion other crazy items along with it. I'm sure the new guy will probably just play a more basic kit.
I bet he will be more along the lines of what Mike Van Dyne did. I don't think many people go as nuts as Cesca did on We Are The Nightmare.

I really liked Darren's work on We Are The Nightmare, he had a unique sound. Yeah the piccolo snare was a little on the weird side, but I liked his work.

Alex Tomlin is really really good. I've heard his stuff cause I'm from around Richmond, but Cesca is fucking nuts. I will miss his work with Arsis a ton.
