Circle Takes the Square post videos 2008-05-31 by Mendigo | 9 Comments | Circle Takes the Square posted three videos on their "Ritual of Names"-blog. Two of them are short clips showing them working on their new album. The third one is a 12 minute life version of the albums' title track Ritual of Names recorded in Brooklyn, New York.
Hey kids, Kathy here. I thought we'd post some videos today. These are from a couple of weeks ago. As we come up with parts and transitions, we are recording demos, but more appropriately they should be considered sketches, or place holders. Giving us something to listen to and work from. So this is what we've been working on lately. Hope you enjoy it, you voyeuristic jokers.

No more like the stuff off Dowsing and Choirs, with the lengthy one chord buildup and stuff. Just came to mind probably because of my rampant love for those two records.
The rest of the song though gets away from that and is pretty awesome. I'm definitely looking forward to this record now, as I'm less worried it will be a huge letdown.
