Wu Tang solo albums

2008-05-17 by PrettyToney | 12 Comments
Recently Raekwon posted a new song on his myspace which is supposed to be off of his long awaited solo album: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=307 83862&MyToken=59287ff0-dc7a-4454-9a88-68754d03d706
It's produced by Necro and features Ghostface who tells another one of his wacky trademark stories.

Rumour has it the album is dropping in August.

Raekwon is featured on the new Game album LAX (he's also on the video for Game's single: http://youtube.com/watch?v=x7U0T2VNGFo) and on the single off of Big Boi's solo album Sir Luscious Left Foot, so hopefully this will be a good year for Wu Tang.

Also Rza just finished shooting the video for his solo album Digi Snax, it features a cameo from Shavo (System of a down) and features Inspectah Deck:

Gza is working on a solo album and it features production from his own son under the alias "Justice".

Who said Wu Tang was over?

Well the myspace song has just been put up and it is all over the internet so that is news. I linked to the game video with raekwon (this is news), I mentioned new Rza video shoot (this is news).

Obviously I don't want any arguments just yet as I am new here BUT I think you are critiquing this too harshly, I've seen worse news updates already and all of this stuff is a pretty big deal especially for anyone who has been waiting for Only Built for Cuban Linx for five or more years. This Message Edited On 05.17.08

Nice, these could all be real good. New Raekwon should be sweet.

Yeah I agree, it probally won't I know Raekwon is going to try really hard though so I still think it will be a decent album. I'm exciting to hear more Ghostface collaborations.

This is great news but let's hope that Raekwon's new album plays more like a sequel than a shit sale out throwaway album. Like Twista's unforgivable Adrenaline Rush 2007, the worst sequel album ever made.

I hope it's at least decent.
