Not sure about this, seeing as Agalloch really aren't known for their live performance. Should be interesting at least though.

Anyone I've talked to who has seen the band live has said it is an amazing experience, I'm really disappointed I missed the chance to see them, I'll be getting this.

I don't doubt seeing them live would be amazing (since they have had a total of like ten gigs in their almost ten year career), but I am not sure a DVD can capture the experience, but I could be wrong.

I will be buying this. This music is very powerful yet I understand why some people might think their boring. Their songs take a while to lift off and revolve around atmosphere. Some people want to go to a concert to here typically structured songs, something you can bang your head to.
