All of these are really good, but I think I'll say that Shattering the Spell is my favorite.

I'm so excited for this album. Arsis is really stepping their game up. I've now heard 4 out of 10 songs, and it's shaping up to be better than United In Regret.

this stuff is SOOO good. A breath of fresh air from their last effort, which was mediocre.

Wow those were really good. Sounds better than ACoG to me. Not sure what my favorite was, but the title track was my least favorite.

i really hope that horrible snare sound is a result of shitty myspace compression

Not saying much. I mean you gave it a 4.5 but it's an awful album. That's like saying I may have HIV but at least I dont have AIDS.

Songs sound decent though, I guess. I'm on the first one. Snare does sound awful, it's louder than the guitars which makes no sense.

Songs are a step up, but this still feels like it could get boring quick (like all of their other stuff).

shattering the spell sounds exactly like Necrophagist if Suicmez sang in a higher pitch.

I dropped it down to a 4. I still like plenty of the album, but I can see why people don't like it. And out of all people I'm sure you'd be able to understand what it's like to have a bit of fanboyism in you. But I'm sure you'll fire back your typical "Arsis sucks" comment like you always do.

Yeah because "songs are decent but the drums sound awful" sure says "Arsis sucks". Great argument.

I'm with the_wizard on this, sounds like it could get pretty boring and repetitive but that may not be if I listen to it more. This Message Edited On 03.16.08
