It won't be a bad album at all. The problem with this site is that it can turn you into a musical tyrant

I'm not really digging the name of this album, so for a record with a crappy name it better have some good songs, but I'm expecting it to be at least satisfactory

Exactly what I was thinking when I read the news. This album will be good, hopefully better then CC (which was a pretty descent album too).

This better be fucking better than the last couple of albums. I haven't dug anything since Clayman.

Well, Abnegation pretty much sucked...but CC was their best since clayman. I dont know, ill stay optimistic because In Flames are one of my favorite bands, same with CoB's new album.

^^^^^Even if it does suck, people will still buy it because In Flames is one of the cool metal bands to be into.

It owns..

The title is ironic, seeing as how it will be evident when we listen to it that they, in no way, had a sense of purpose whilst creating the album.

I think I'll like it. I'm not as picky as most of the people here and can listen to a large variety of stuff.

So far, I have loved every In Flames album they have made, even the newer ones.

What a cheesy title for an album. It sounds like an emo band's name or something.

As long as it doesn't sound anything like STYE, then ill be happy. Even tho that wasn't too bad, it wasn't really good, either.

Im hoping they dont continue their trend, even though I liked Come Clarity. Why cant they just make another Jester Race or Clayman or something

You people realize that Abnegation was a demo track they submitted for Viva la Bam, right? You can't base an entire album off one song; that's the same as racial generalization, only, applied to music.

I'm looking forward to this release

Seriously doubt it. Both will be bad for each band's standards, but Blooddrunk will be slightly better.

My prediction: this is one of the last of those stupid "my prediction" posts.

Also, I found Abnegation to be quite good, but I don't need an album full of quality á la Abnegation. I'd rather have something melodic and death and metal, like melodic death metal.

Crysis, In Flames can hardly be called "death metal" at all, the only album they did which even comes close is Whoracle.
Come Clarity had it's fair share of catchy melodies, as all their albums have, so I'm expecting nothing less than decent melodic metal, which in my opinion, they have always delivered.

Also, it would be bad to make another Clayman or Colony, leave it be. Although another Colony would suit me fine.
