yeah I have zero exposure to this band outside of the Smooth Criminal cover but as far as this goes it really isn't bad. Incredibly bland, very generic and derivative, but not gonna expect anything more from a new Alien Ant Farm song called "So Cold".

I like AAF a lot, and have for years. Like way more than any normal person. But this blew. It sounded like a way less interesting version of Dreydens band "Send the Sages" from a few years ago (check them out btw). I hope this is more a one-off and not them just devolving into a "funkier" Taproot.

Ok this song is kind of weak tho, parts are okay but I prob wouldn't give this a second glance if I wasn't so into ANThology. This doesn't really touch anything on that, kind of awkward sounding. Chorus/lyrics kind of lame. The drums during the verses are def the most standout part to me.

I'm always surprised when people write the band off as a joke. Maybe I'm the weird one, but I always thought these guys were an entire tier above their peers. I've enjoyed every single album they've released and while they've never put out a classic, they can always be relied on.
