Thank God. Hope they can now enjoy retirement

This isn't "Carnival of Light"
| |
Holy shit I forgot all about "It's Okay To Leave a Dog In a Hot Car" lmao
| |
I like it
| |
not a big gain for music
| |
Wut
| |
It's missing the middle-eight of the demo, but it's quite nice.
| |
Didn’t know they were still making music. This is great!
| |
Hate it when bands call it quits like this. They'll be back together in a few years for an overpriced "reunion tour," just wait.
| |
Doesn’t really sound like the Beatles, but it’s still a halfway decent song, maybe a bit overproduced in a way John would’ve scoffed at
but where’s carnival of light
| |
like fr Carnival of Light doesn’t even have to be good I just want to know what their thought process with the actual song was
| |
inb4 rowan says the version from John’s Instagram story clears

I like it, I like the sentiment, it doesn’t feel hamfisted or cashing in or like it’s setting anything else up
| |
great song
| |
Needs more Yoko Ono screeching
| |
Nice work from a young and upcoming band

| |
It's not the best Beatles track but the video short was quite sweet and it's a remarkable little story
| |
This song is weird because I feel like it's meant to be a tribute to John Lennon but at the same time, Paul and Ringo don't have enough faith in his composition to let it speak for itself.
It feels like they wanted "the last Beatles song" to be more epic than the understated piano ballad it was intended to be.
The AI isolation of Lennon's voice sounds cool, I just wish they recorded the song differently.
| |
Nice song.

version from John’s Instagram story clears
| |
yes, i liked the demo more than the actual produced song
