Apparently this is a double lp - with only seven tracks - and a five minute lead single - so the rest of these damn tracks going to be like 10-20 minutes long.

Dudes, I started the Couch to 5K program with their first record and have listened through their discography on all my runs, and now I'm like 50 runs in, almost trained all the way up to a 10k, and I still have eight records to go!

It's fucking fantastic. The King Gizzard workout plan. The band just going to keep making the most creative and fun 3.5/5 records every three months for forever.

It baffles me that (particularly the US) go so nuts for these guys. Honestly wander into any random pub in Melbourne on a weekend and you’ll find 100 bands that sound exactly the same.

Because those bands haven't put out 20 plus records of consistently solid to great material in only 10 years, and honestly, I can't think of too many bands who have. I'm not the biggest KG fan but they're a ridiculously talented band, even if they're not your bag the dedication to the craft and exploration of virtually all genres of music within their sound is still quite impressive.
