Far too slow for my taste

| |
Yasssssssss THE BOYZ ARE BACK IN TOWN
|
| |
I love these guys. This song's really interesting. Big fan of the lopsided grooves and dissonance. excited to learn how the rest of the album pans out. Big props to them for using the Francisco Goya painting for the cover. Definitely one of my all time favorite painters/visual artists.
|
| |
I saw some of his work at the Prado museum, including one of my favorites, "Saturn Devouring His Son"
|
| |
Saturn is absolutely haunting. One of my favorites, too. That's in Madrid, right? Yeah, I literally want to go, just to see The Black Paintings if nothing else. On the bucket list, absolutely.

| |
Goya? Aren't those the Trump-supporting beans? Canceled.
|
| |
ha, pretty fuckin sick track
|
| |
SURELY NOT LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOO
|
| |
Yeah, it's in Madrid ;) it also has "The Garden of Earthly Delights" by Hieronymus Bosch and "The Descent from the Cross" by Rogier van der Weyden, also one of my absolute favorites.

Nobody knows how to make me feel uncomfortable quite like these guys.
|
| |
No waaaay! 🤙 checking later!
|
| |
Impressive stuff.
|
| |
oh thats hot!
|

I totally get what they're going for but it just doesn't jive with me. I know some sputnikers that will love this though.
|
| |
Yeeeeeeeeeeees this is FRESH. Haven't been this excited for something in ages. They've changed their aesthetic a lot it seems. Less eternal void of unending pain. Black metal for people who study music theory. How are people supposed to nod-along to this live? I had the Saturn goya as my pic for a while
