don't like the chorus but i like the harmonic twiddles in teh verse. it gave me "here comes something cool" feelings but the chorus sounds like

the lightning seeds or something lol

Never was a fan of this band. Tried numerous times, but I can't get passed the boring ass vocalist

same Pickle, not necessarily the vocalist that is the problem but they've always bored me. Tried Alligator and Boxer so many times

The National wouldn't exactly work with 'livelier' vox, embrace the baritone

Trouble will find me is their best album no cap. This song is alright, not their worst for sure. The last album was a snooze fest and a half.

like the album title but not sold on the single. tayswift isn't a surprising feature because aren't they writing her music for her lately? band will almost always depend on the lyrical quality

are they any good live?

I would say there were two or three better songs than this on the last album.

Plus about ten worse ones.

why is paul mescal's head on the artwork? this band's phoeB shilling knows no bounds

was all set to hate this (and am not a fan of the percussion (and it's a long way from their best)), but it's well above the dismal standard they set with their last alb. tentatively optimistic

Hmm, only the lamest shit that I've heard in a while, so pretty good The National song considering what they've released in the last decade. Too bad the other song they've dropped recently is even worse.

this is fine, a step up from the last album which was indeed the snoozefest some fellas are saying it was. the new single gives me boxer/alligator vibes tho which is great. It's a bit repetitive but then again some of their best songs generally are

also yes, Trouble Will Find Me is definitely not their best album, or in the top 3 even
