bretty gud

definitely more of what you'd expect from modern In Flames but honestly it's not that bad, still the weakest of the tracks they've done so far.
| |
Yeah sounds better than stuff from the last couple albums but still disappointed they won't just give up on the pop punk vocals
| |
I hate when bands tease albums like 6 months in advance. Singles should only come out a month or so before release.
| |
Damn this one was super boring
| |
welp here we go
| |
Alright track
| |
Son of a bitch
| |
Safe to say In Flames isn’t back after all.
| |
I mean 3 out of the 4 tracks so far have been decent so far, I'd still say there might be some hope
| |
Vocals are too up front and cheesy, but otherwise I like this. If you saw the first three songs from this album as a return to form, I don't know why a fourth song that isn't as good would discredit the whole thing.
| |
This is almost Battles levels bad
| |
This is several tiers above Battles purely based on the instrumentation imo
| |
Really interesting that they think this brings back the moonshield/Gyroscope vibe lol
| |
Yeah this is definitely still better than battles
| |
"Really interesting that they think this brings back the moonshield/Gyroscope vibe lol"
Yeah I laughed when I read that lmao. Honestly hilarious
| |
The chorus gives me slight Moonshield vibes, tbf. Could be because of the time signature and it has that Swedish folk feeling to it.
| |
Even if it has any slightest vibe whatsoever it is laughable compared to the original
| |
I haven't heard any songs yet but the album cover is honestly rad.
| |
Better than anything they have released in years but still meh
| |
A foregone conclusion
| |
While it's a bit more of the modern In Flames sound, it's executed pretty well. I feel like Anders actually sounds decent here? The cleans aren't awful and the screams are pretty solid.
| |
storm with the chad take
| |
muted after around 50 seconds but the video is very funny
i muted when he started clean singing
and Storm, sorry to break it to you but they aren't gonna have a song as good as Crawl ever again
| |
edit out the cleans n extraneous acoustics n we got sthg decent
| |
By far the worst of the four singles
| |
Agreed
| |
yep, I feel like name dropping Moonshield and Gyroscope doesn't help either. But they do bring back the vocal melody from Forgone pt. 1, so that is something.
| |
Musically and lyrically it is a continuation of Foregone.
some vintage Captain Obvious right here
| |
-Bro do you even In Flames?
bruh they be indiscriminately spamming the acoustic guitar on this like a clingy gf n his cleans always been balls
| |
First In Flames song I found enjoyable since come clarity. Hoping there’s at least a few in the record as good.
| |
(I've already listened to this more than the first two singles combined)
| |
It’s pretty good.
Cleans are kinda obnoxious tho.
| |
song grows on me, i say SLAPS
| |
Haven't listened to any of the singles that came out after The Great Deceiver as I don't want to listen half the album before it actually comes out but I am actually really looking forward for this album. Judging from what I have heard, it might be their best since Come Clarity.
