Psychonaut's Violate Consensus Reality 2022-09-08 by Fernando Alves STAFF | 10 Comments | Belgium-based progressive post-metal trio Psychonaut shared the title track off their upcoming full-length Violate Consensus Reality, out October 28th via Pelagic Records. The track features guest vocals from Amenra's Colin H. van Eeckhout and Brutus' Stefanie Mannaerts.
Take a peek at the music video below.
Band comments: "Violate Consensus Reality explores and envisions new ways of organizing humankind, drawing inspiration from the notion that we are all part of a living, conscious universe rather than a dead, meaningless one. The title track conveys the desire to awaken from a story of separation in which we have been molded all our lives. It is easy to get lost in short-term comfort and escapism, thus keeping us from doing the necessary internal work to detox from this material, superficial worldview. Only by going against this consensus of separation, can we start to lay down the foundation for the more beautiful world we know is possible….”

2. All Your Gods Have Gone

This song has one of the most frustrating, unrewarding buildups within the genre
| | | What we really need is new Sâver.
| | | amazing song!
| | | Song was okay. Not a fan of the way it ended after Colin's part.
| | | Really glad Gnochi pointed me in this bands direction when Godman came out. Songs okay i have a feeling it will all work together in context of the record
| | | solid track
| | | Album art is plain..bad
| | | Phenomenal song.
| | | I think itd be better if collin had a bit more than one shriek his feature feels very short.
@Dewinged i think the emerald ep showed off that these guys have a problem with track length sometimes.
| | | I thought this was a good track and the fact that it didn’t build towards a predictable climax, but just detoured at various times, was in its favour.
