Germanic progressive metallers Disillusion will be dropping their fourth studio album, Ayam, on November 4th via Prophecy Productions. The first single, 'Am Abgrund', can be streamed below.

The album was recorded and produced by Andy Schmidt & Disillusion at Echolux Studios Leipzig. Mixed by Jens Bogren and mastered by Tony Lindgren at Fascination Street Studios, Sweden. Drum recording engineering by Magnus Wichmann.

Unrealistic expectations lead to disappointment, I'm just hoping for a stronger showing than their last effort which admittedly I didn't really enjoy

Meh. It's okay. It's so painfully obvious at this point that the passion/emotion that went into BtToS had a lot to do with why it's so iconic to this day. They haven't been able to get anywhere near recapturing it.
