These guys were always kind of a guilty pleasure, but not so sure I give a shit about this since the entire band was fired so one guy could take back all the control. Who knows, maybe this will be what finally takes Delain from being the most generic and average of the top symphonic metal bands.

At the end of the day symphonic(ish) metal is always a guilty pleasure isn't it? Hahah It's a bit like watching Eurovision over a nice red.
|
| |
Ha ha. True enough. I finally listened to this song and it sounds exactly like Delain. Even the new vocalist sounds like the old one. Crazy.
|
| |
I don't think I've ever listened to these guys but I liked the song, generic but fun, at least for me.
|
| |
"generic but fun" -- Yep, that about sums it up.
|
| |
more like Shitlain hahaha just kidding this is aight

Kind of baffling to me how you two still deal with the concept of guilty pleasure. Just enjoy something free of guilt, no need to bring this toxic element into it.
|
| |
I can't tell if you're being serious or not... Anyway,
Guilty Pleasure: something, such as a movie, television program, or piece of music, that one enjoys despite feeling that it is not generally held in high regard.
It doesn't mean anyone actually feels guilt about it.
|
| |
no I'm 100% serious, it's a very silly concept to me, simply because the general perception of something should have absolutely nothing to do with how much I enjoy it.
|
| |
It's just a 'saying'. Don't take it so literally. Also, it makes perfect sense as a saying because human beings are inclined to engage in 'group think' behaviors.
|
| |
Not me, I'm not a sheep, I'm special :3
|
| |
I believe you are special.
|
| |
Whenever I see the term "symphonic metal", I go the other way, so I’ll safely pass.
|
| |
Delain definitely isn't the band you use to try to sway people towards Symphonic Metal.
