Butt-thrashing it's way to stink town this is.

came from jamming soulfly to this and the only difference was that this had a more melodic chorus lol

Parkway Drive if Winston wasn't in the band

Sounds cool, only really heard that album with the Stabwound ripoff on before

This sounds like a mid life crisis

"Parkway Drive if Winston wasn't in the band"
I was gonna make a Lamb of God comparison but I could see this too. We're splitting hairs here. Okay song.

As much as I dig them all their thrash stuff sounds pretty similar so this was cool to hear them focus on the groove a bit.
Pacing reminds me a bit of All is not well off Monolith.
This definitely the catchiest they've sounded, would dare to say Josh's time in Architect's is rubbing off on his songwriting.
Would like to hear a little more of what he did on his solo record bleed into Sylosis a bit more, he needs some new scales and riffs tbh

I loved their first 2 albums but honestly each new release from these guys gets a little more boring. Also, Josh sounds so different compared to previous albums?

I like Josh but I agree with GoodNeighbour that he needs to shake it up a little. It all starts to really sound the same. Also I'm not really a fan of the half-singing/half-screaming stuff he's doing now. Learn to sing for real dude.
That being said that ending is a pretty good "try not to headbang challenge" moment not gonna lie.
