At least sounds better than Evolution. Still sterile as all hell.
| |
Disturbed covering pink Floyd hell yeah
| |
I would rather gouge my eyes out with rusted nails than have to hear another song by Disturbed
| |
K enjoy
| |
Don’t even have to listen to know exactly what this sounds like
| |
stricken ripoff
Also ENOUGH WITH THE DJENTrification of metal and rock
| |
It's ok the main chorus is meh but it's alright I was expecting a lot worsens.
| |
Holy fuck this is pretty solid
| |
Yeah for Disturbed in 2022 this is pretty slappy
| |
I wouldn’t call it a chainsaw to the face but it definitely bitch slaps
| |
lol
| |
amazing. keep it up
| |
I mean it's Disturbed that's for sure lmao
not bad though, kinda catchy
| |
How many WOKCHOK's does this have on a scale of OOH-WAH-AH-AH to AH-AH-OW-OW?
| |
I am stupefied, maybe even stricken.
| |
I was pretty shocked by how decent this is, for the record
| |
had to call it quits at the chorus
| |
I guess it's better than anything off their last album, which...
*checks notes*
averaged a 1.9...hardly a high bar to clear.
| |
It’s not indestructible but it’s at least stainless steel
| |
Audible vomit
| |
Chorus was eh, but I really liked the verses
I don't know shit about this band btw
| |
Oo waa aa aa aa
| |
the beginning of the chorus feels like it wants to be uplifting power rock but then the vocal melody descends and it's just super awkward. really woulda been better as generic power rock.
| |
^^^
That's why it felt so wonky to me.
| |
Sounds like Disturbed. Pass.
| |
...aren't they Canadian?
| |
It's crazy how some bands like this just never evolve their sound. They're just content to continue producing the same tired, generic shit for decades on end
| |
Aw yeah, this shit goes HARD. Anyone wanna chug a monster with me?
| |
these days when I read the name Disturbed I think about that granny on YouTube drum covering Down With The Sickness
| |
Also, the interviews these guys do whenever they're making a new album are always hilarious. You'll read something like:
"We wanted, especially having this time off, and being off this long break, to come back with something that sounds a little bit more fresh. It's been five years between albums, so it was nice to have, kind of, a new production element to it and things that, kind of, pushed us and challenged us to raise the bar."
And then you listen to the album and it sounds exactly like the last one
| |
Nothing wrong with the same old shit if it’s good shit
| |
Sad thing is
This is better than the new Architects
| |
The commercial bands are getting heavier while the once heavy bands are going commercial
| |
Naw dude I don't chug drinks I prefer to drink it normally and enjoy the taste. tehe
| |
Purpl3Spartan What about Crowbar? Also kalkwiese but is it better then the new Arch Enemy track though?
| |
Never heard of em lol
| |
OH WA AH AH AH
| |
Good lord, just retire from your already horrible career.
| |
catchy I guess but oh man this kind of braindead bridges
| |
No just no
| |
This is helping no one.
| |
oh my, noticed the cover art
| |
that cover they did of the simon and garfunkel song was shameful, completely ruins the majesty of the original, the original had this sort of quiet thoughtful essence to it, gracefully done, and then these guys are like, nah it needs to be explosive bruh. can't stand that fucking cover. lol
| |
At least they did their own thing with that song, I guess, but I am notba fan of it either
And I always cringe people acting like that cover was the best thing ever and so much better than the original. It's a matter of taste, I can see that, but it's hard to swallow
| |
big oof

This is literally the heaviest part in the new Disturbed song.
I mean, I kind of like that it reminds me of something Marc Rebillet would come up with off of a call-in, but it's really missing that "Get the fuck out, bitch."
| |
I remember when David Draiman said around 2009 that he sees them being a multiple-decade kind of band. It's definitely been long enough.
| |
This is kinda boring but at least it is better than everything off Evolution.
| |
It really needed a random bridge where David recreates an incident of domestic abuse with his mother
| |
Does he do that bridge live? That would be hilarious to see
| |
lmao a 53 year old loser

@Josh D.
Totally normal 53 year old behavior tbh. Some of the most fragile dudes.
| |
The only way it's funnier is if he censored it to like f*ck or something
| |
His response to why he stopped wearing the chin piercings is pretty funny though, it was something simple like "I realised I was a 45 year old man wearing chin piercings"
| |
