wish the album would sound more like this and less like "Weapon", but I guess that won't happen anytime soon. Oh well ...
| | | i thought weapon was cool. ive never really listened to these guys before though.
is this more their classic sound?
| | | This is just baseball cap brocore..nothing more
| | | That new tour they announced is gonna go nutty
| | | @moment: they only ever really released one album that was closer to that sound. I'm not sure how "For what it's worth" would hold up today, but back then I adored it.
But as it is with a lot of things, it might have just been there at the right point in my life - as far as I know it's not an album that's overly "liked", not even by their fans today, but at least at their concerts it's always a pretty young crowd (while I'm personally reaching the end of my thirties).
If you listen to their albums chronologically you can actually hear how their sound transforms very quickly into what you can now hear on "Weapon".
| | | lol, the review for "For What It's Worth" is amazing and it seems like the reviewer even changed his rating from 5.0 to 1.5 over time xD
| | | never got the appeal of these guys
