Swedish melodic death/thrash metallers Darkane are back with a new album, Inhuman Spirits, out June 24th via Massacre Records. The title track's official music video can be seen below.

Band comments: "We're very proud to present the first single from our upcoming album, the title track 'Inhuman Spirits'. We feel very strongly about this song as it marks almost 9 years since we last released music for you, so we sincerely hope you enjoy it."

Inhuman Spirits was mixed and mastered by Lawrence Mackrory at Rorysound Studios.

Darkane rips, their first few albums were very sick, my absolute favorite being Expanding Senses. That album is start to finish incredible. Stoked to check it out even if I haven't followed to much of their more recent albums

Their first album is actually absolutely great, everything that I heard from later albums was between meh and decent...

Massacre records remains the prime label destination for mainstream metal bands beyond their prime (unfunny pun intended).

Yeah I haven’t listened to Darkane since 2005 as well but hang on this has potential. Has a big epic feel to it this track
