Citizen Bash Out a Song

2022-04-19 by jesper STAFF | 20 Comments
Run For Covercore outfit Citizen have released a new single titled 'Bash Out'. The song is the band's first new material since 2021's grungepopcore Life in Your Glass World and continues that album's approach of using instruments and implementing vocals. It is not known whether the song will be part of an upcoming project. The video's comment section has attracted a surprising amount of Spanish bots.

Mat sounds great but they're so boring instrumentally now

fun track with some groovy surf vibes but boy howdy the regression of this band. they missed their crossover window with heaven and have been trying so hard to claw out their own sound but have just been unremarkable since

seeing the absolute ape matt basically begging people to dance and move when they opened for turnstile was a sad sight

sounds like the background music you’d mildly notice while shopping for a 20$ pair of jeans at H&M

It's a 4.5 for me where As You Please is a 5. So yeah, hurts to see them fall off like this
