slaps
| |
pretty good
| |
fucking boriiiiingggg
| |
another day, another marcus song devoid of good and memorable ideas
| |
never heard a tune by these guys that I thought the vox made better
| |
not too bad. I haven't been a fan of this band in the past but I don't mind this.
| |
obligatory fuck i miss adrian comment
| |
I haven't liked any of the singles so far. I have a bad feeling about the upcoming album.
| |
Yeah this is safe and boring for sure. Not bad but does nothing interesting
| |
Why do all the guitar notes that are NOT on the 9th string (or however many guitar strings these clowns are using) sound muddy as hell?
Sounds like some cool riffs happening underneath that overpowering low string, but it's hard to hear
| |
I noticed that too on like the third listen Bloc
| |
Is Adrian even doing anything these days music wise, or are his vocals still shredded
| |
His vox is likely fine he’s just living his life. I believe he’s a therapist now.
Alternative title: “Northlane deliver ‘plenty’ of crap to our ears”
| |
Forever wishing Adrian never left the band and we got a full on cosmic horror concept album like Worldeater
| |
Good for Adrian, glad he's doing what he want's
| |
Album will end up at a 3.5 just like Alien. Half the people will love it and half will hate it
| |
I liked this
| |
the lousy mix swallows every good aspect of the song
| |
good song
| |
This band always takes one step forward and two steps back. Frustrating.
| |
more like northlame amirite
| |
No "I've had plenty of this band" jokes? You guys are losing your touch.
| |
kinda hard for our output to be inspired when theirs isnt
| |
i feel like there's nothing progressive about "progressive metalcore". every band with that label sounds the same and its garbage
| |
it's because you're right, they all sound the exact same and suck
| |
Forever wishing Adrian never left the band and we got a full on cosmic horror concept album like Worldeater [1]
Yes.
I also think this is fine for Northlane. I'm not sitting on my hands waiting for Northlane to drop something mindblowing; if they did, great surprise. Beyond that, I'll enjoy a few of their tracks that might make playlists. They've been consistent at the very least.
| |
Northlane became irrelevant the day Adrian left.
| |
I feel like Rocky grunting AAAAAADRIIIAAAAN
| |
Music slaps , vox aren't bad necessarily but they don't really go with the music? It's like two different songs.
| |
Pretty cool song
| |
Not enough
| |
God they're so fucking boring these days. Can't wrap my head around these being the same songwriters that made their first 2 albums.
| |
Rips.
| |
everything became very boringly decent after Discoveries imo once again this ain't bad
| |
The riff carries this song but not enough
| |
Singularity was a certified banger tbf.
| |
Bummed this band still makes music lol
| |
the riff follows the jinn formula of being cool the first repetition of it and then they literally never vary it up and j go "hey i guess this is it as far as us trying as guitarists!"
which i guess makes it a comparatively better marcuslane song since at least theres like, 6 attention grabbing seconds instead of 0 but still lol
| |
If it’s six seconds of good they should just make it a vine and be done with it
| |
Why is this so flat? I actually liked Echo Chamber but this sounds like a B-side of Node with that production.
| |
Marcus should be a touring member only as he's great live but has no fucking clue what to do in the studio booth.
| |
He's like the anti-Oli in that Oli is a purely studio vocalist and can't do a damn thing on tour.
| |
