This is weirdly reminding me a lot of Sleep Token. They have the heavier sound and they have the lighter sound, but they don't mesh together to form one cohesive whole, in an oil and water type dilemma.

The first listen I hated it. The second listen, I thought it was mediocre at best. The band needs some. More of that technicality they used to be so good at.

This isn't bad. Sounds like the Bloodline off the new album. Doesn't do a whole lot but I feel like it could grow on you.

yeah this grew on me but the chorus gets extremely repetitive

I decided to sleep on the song as well and listen to it one more time. Honestly it doesn't sound as bad as it did yesterday. But given the "dancy" nature of the song, the 7-string guitars that are literally just djenting away through the entire song just don't fit. Maybe if they weren't so fuckin prominent in the mix or something.
