Sweet child o mine, why u do this to us
| |
I guess it does not matter. I read an interessting article couple of years back that stated once artists have a certain backlog which they are known for, the release, no matter how horrible it is, triggers fans to listen to their old records again, which generates money even though the new release does not sell that well.
I for once fell triggered to listen to Chinese Demoncracy now ... lol .. just kiddin

| |
chinese democracy is their best album bestie
| |
apparently this is an unreleased song from the Chinese Democracy sessions, I mean honestly it could be worse
| |
Ha-oww
| |
wth this is like a straight 1.0
| |
1 album in 30 years and they can't even make a brand new track lol
| |
wtf this is horrible
| |
man, what a disappointing release.....i figured after all this time, they'd release a real bangin tune.....terrible
| |
This is so mediocre. Not surprised it was a Chinese democracy b side. Nearly every song on that album is better than this
| |
for sure
| |
How I imagine every gnr studio session goes https://youtu.be/XHO_lkuT6M4
| |
It's like the Green Day of today wrote a GnR style track and Axl put his awful vocals to Billie Joe's lyrics
| |
Someone actually heard this and said "yeah its great release it"
| |
where on earth did this come from?
| |
Heard they crushed up and compressed some dinosaurs
| |

I could see this being true.
"chinese democracy is their best album bestie"
Chineese Democracy had some real solid tracks, wish they actually would put out music.
They released a b-side from Appetite for Destruction with the box set back in 2018 and that track, Shadow of your Love, actually bangs:

EDIT: just listened to Absurd and like you all promised, it is definitely not good.
| |
Listening to this could make the strongest man considering leaving his life behind
even god cant comprehend how bad this is
not the hugest fan of gnr so i actually didnt mind Chinese Democrasy that much but holy f
| |
This was not good and that backwards R is the most boomer attempt at trying to be edgy I've seen in a while
| |
Cyrillic = cool
| |
worst band ever
| |
this is unreal how bad this is. Jesus christ
| |
this sounds like a green day cover or something wtf
| |
I expect an apology for this
| |
If I heard this somewhere out of the blue I don’t know if I would even recognize the band tbh…
| |
This is so generic even Imagine Dragons wouldn't write this.
| |
lol this band
| |
When your vocals are so bad... you throw every effect you can find on top of them
| |
i kind of like how odd it is, pretty good guitar part too, when there was guitar, i mean. song is too repetitive though. And i think that all in all fans wont be happy with it but i was never a huge fan of the band so.
I more so respect the balls to put this style of song out, kind of like saying fuck your expectations but axl is a wash out, unfortunately, not quite aging as bad and embarrassing as vince neil, though. At least he's still more interesting than his contemporaries from that time.
| |
He puts on a hell of a live show in recent times
| |
Slash and Duff came back for this wankery?
| |
A complete and utter disgrace, worst song ever, who ever decided to allow this to be released needs to lay off the drugs
| |
Pussy full of maggots
| |
Guns n Roses were never good and it's high time y'all realized it.
| |
hard hits on the song
| |
Chinese Democracy sucks
| |
I never understood how anyone even thought axel rose was a good vocalist and well here we are
| |
tbh if they released an instrumental version of chinese democracy it would be like the 21st century dark side of the moon
| |
Chinese democracy slaps and I will die on that hill
| |
hard 1
| |
This was pretty not good. Never jammed Chinese Democracy. Use Your Illusion I has some pretty solid tracks on it though. Mainly the more aggressive ones and Dust n Bones holds some nostalgia for me too
| |
Yeuch! What’s this crap?
This track is like eating something and you suddenly feel something that is an unexpected texture and you cannot eat it anymore: it must be spit out immediately.

| |
1 star, would not recommend to a friend
| |
Yeah like they aren't gonna release Appetite Part II or anything but this was super sucky
| |
I remember reading that there were up to 50 fully finished and produced songs for Chinese democracy that were never released on the album. I’m sure most of em sound like this too
| |
oh boy oh boy oh boy they got slash back so they're still good right?
| |
This track is like eating something and you suddenly feel something
| |
A stroke
| |
I am not going to listen to a single song by this band until they get their shit together and drop a new album.
I am done encouraging this shit
| |
preach jack
| |
Imagine the beatles stayed active but disappeared for basically 30 years, releasing one album in that time before releasing something this bad in 2001. The thought makes me lol
| |
Black sabbath released more original LPs in their first 4 years than these guys in 34 and they didn't have to deal with ozzy Osborne coating Birmingham in a layer of warm piss every night. I guess that's what happens when your main songwriter is a fat dork like axl rose. Tbf if I were a multi millionaire in my twenties I'd probably also be tempted to retire to a life of watching daytime TV and online poker. All he forgot was the mad villain decoy singer so he didn't actually have to turn up to a live show. All he even needed was a scarecrow with sunglasses a spare microphone dangling from a pendulum in front of the speakers
