So we're getting a full clean sung album then? I'm not against it honestly, kinda digging this and Great Mass of Color.

The chorus and the ending hit nice, but the verses are way too tame on this thing.

Impulse bought a ticket because I was supposed to see them in March 2020 and they ultimately canceled, plus I am digging the first single. An all clean sung album is interesting.

This band gets an awful lot of praise for being average at everything they do...

Great Mass of Color is probably my favorite song from them. This one is alright, chorus a bit flat though. Have high hopes for the album.

Not a fan of how George sings "hear these howlsss" but the rest of the song is really cool.

Wow is this interpol or deafheaven?

They still know how to write a tune that's the main thing.

Yet to actually listen to OCHL but this evolution is interesting and the clean vocals are quaint - don't hold it higher above anything from NB though

Deafheaven will always be divisive. If it isn't getting compared to Alcest, it is getting compared to Slowdive, Baroness, Ghost, or anything sonically similar. It is better than anything Tame Impala has ever done. XD

Really interested in the album even if this track didn't really do it for me. The previous single is still beautiful doe

I feel the same. Very excited to hear the whole album, this is looking like it’ll be their Shelter, which is an obvious observation I suppose.
