The song has a nice Keeper vibe.

Releasing half the song is pretty dumb imo

The actual song is pretty great

This is sweet.

Release the full song though lol, strange way to promote a single.

I'm just speculating, but the label must have wanted to have as the first single a Kai Hansen song (with a Keeper vibe), but avoiding the full 12 minutes. This way they also whet the appetite for the full song to be released on June 18th.

I guess but still, I understand it if you are a bigger band but it's Helloween lol.

Song is quite solid, definitely got some throwback vibes. Always good to hear some Kiske, always got time for that, still at the top of his game vocally, his stuff with Avantasia has been impressive.

It’s a single version - this is not a new concept

I love this track; I'm gonna love it more when it isn't sliced in half. Glad my hype for this album seems to be justified. I think we're gonna have one hell of an album here, boys.

Nuclear blast often do this. i remember them uploading shortened versions of enslaved songs to promote their album “in times”. quite stupid if you ask me

They may have possibly released it this way so they could stick within budget restrictions for the music video. Bit of a stretch, but possible.
