Really digging this new track. I really liked The North Corridor but felt like they would have to change it up a little bit on their next album. If this single is any indication, they’ve done just that.

New album has nice artwork.
| |
I'm always amazed by how consistently good these guys have remained when most of their contemporaries have either broken up or descended into the depths of mediocrity.
| |
album title stands for "Nothing Is Real and This Is a Simulation" FYI
| |
Just as I'm seriously getting into them lol. Aren't I a lucky chap.
| |
Song slaps cheeks
| |
with a music video premiering later today, August 1st
His voice sounds kinda goofy...higher and thinner
| |
Nice song at the core but the production is really flat in my opinion. The mix is like a wall of sound and the vocals are completely washed out.
| |
What's happened to the vocals? Pretty irritating.
| |
One of their best lead singles in a long time, I was taken back by the vocals on first listen but they quickly grew on me
| |
great song, stoked for the new album

Song rules

New album's gonna be 13 tracks with 2 interludes, nice
| |
i dig the single. the album art rules.
yeah im going to preorder this.
| |
Music video is out: https://youtu.be/QhPn5EPGN4c
Fits the vibe of the song nicely
| |
Chevelle's writing is usually nothing to write home about, but i'm all for the bridge.
| |
Not surprised in the slightest that I love this
Prolly gonna do some pre order action. Super excited for this album
| |
Damn, I wish I could sing like that. New song is friggin' stellar.
| |
Pete still has it but it’s overlong
| |
Holy shit they've still got it
| |
Chevelle releasing good music in 2021; respect.
| |
I kinda dig that new vocal style. Song rules.
| |
This pretty good yeah. Still consistently Chevelle but also offering something new.
| |
Also, damn why are Chevelle's ballads some of their best songs. "Bend the Bracket", "Highland Apparition", and "Shameful Metaphors" are some of my favorites.
| |
I woke up and said "I wanna play heavy shit. So this song is super melodic". Okay.
| |
Song owns. Album should follow suit.
New vocal style was a bit jarring at first, but it grows on you quick
| |
He said that's how he felt on the past two records Dumbo...
| |
Production is pretty weak. Hearing easily noticeable crackling throughout the song
| |
Song rules. Preordered

"Pete still has it but it’s overlong"
Man, guy has the full package.
| |
Bad production, cool track. Last record did nothing for me but I'll be jamming this.
| |
Those ear piercing vocals ah ah ah. It's not even a question of being good or bad, it's just literally painful to listen to.
| |
I actually like the track a lot overall but the vocals are just too high pitched at times.
| |
Self Destructor is the best song I've heard from Chevelle in years, I liked that a whole lot
| |
Two songs on this album are tagged as explicit.... idk man, my mom might not let me jam this.
Single slaps, love the album art too. Vocals are great as always. Shocker, it’s a new Chevelle album
| |
Damn, I didn't know Dean had left the band.
| |
Yes, he wanted to focus more on his family and art/furniture business apparently.
| |
Too bad cause this song would really benefit from some crunchier bass
| |
He did a great job on the North Corridor, loved the heavy low end of the record.
| |
Yeah I was going to say, there’s something missing from this song and I think it’s a more distinct bass
| |
That's true
Maybe why there was more attention on lead guitar on the song than I thought was usual for the guys
| |
Song is awesome, these guys never let me down. The album title is similar to Enter Shikari’s latest w
| |
the album title is pretty cheesy but Chevelle lyrics haven't made sense for basically their entire existence so I'll let it slide
| |
Yeah the mix is kinda sus. Cool track though, not as immediate of a hook as some of their other singles but it's quality.
| |
I have always been a fan of these guys. Quality stuff...
| |
This bangs
| |
rules.. been listening to this like 10 times straight
| |
Chevelle is easily one of the most consistent bands I know.
| |
Wow a good chevelle song
| |
this production is a shame, track is awesome
