Thy Art unleash new single

Austrialian deathcore outfit Thy Art Is Murder have surprise-released a new single titled "Killing Season".

The single comes as a stand-alone single and is the first new material the band has released since 2019's Human Target and follows in the same bone-crushing path of its predecessors.

Better than anything off Human Target. These guys have kickass standalone singles

Better than most songs from the last album. Title track was stellar though. I love this.

Much better than everything on the previous album which is nice.

Band needs to start experimenting with their sound a bit more though. I wish they had explored the sound present in 'They Will Know Another'.

A little late to the comments.
I was impressed by the song honestly it felt pretty derivative. They've been one of my favourite bands since 2010 seen them live 4 times but they seem to be on a downward spiral..

We'll see where this leads.. Agreed it's much better than the last album but again not a great standard to be measured against.

Seen this band name floating around forever but never listened to them. Savage but pretty uninteresting deathcore. Deathcore never appealed to me outside of born of Osiris, veil of Maya, fit for an autopsy. This drummer is incredible though, really impressed with the drumming.
Any albums by these guys worth a listen given my tastes above?

Hate still their peak to this day, this is pretty standard songriting for their style, not bad but nothing to be too crazy about honestly

@GoodNeighbour: definitely check "Hate" it's considered their best work by most fans.
If you liked the drumming on this track, check the last album, human target (which i reviewed) because he's new and that's the only record he's on. The best tracks on that are eye for an eye and the title track.
Personally I like the adversary too, I listened to it today after a really long time and it still slays.
