also jokes, i'm one of those weirdos that liked the remake
| | | I was also alright with the Halloween remake. Weird to see Zombie on Nuclear Blast. Song does nothing for me. Still kinda love me some White Zombie though
| | | At least the tune has a heavier low end
| | | yeah, this is decent heavy for zombie. the track tails off into arbitrary territories in the last third of the song though; hope the rest of the album isn't indicative of that structure.
| | | it b slappin
| | | Pretty decent
| | | Rob refuse to leave his sound of his first album.
His brother refuse to return to the sound that made him popular.
Choose one.
| | | Closest he's sounded to White Zombie in a very long time. I dig.
| | | I still don't love it but at least it's better than that UFO song that shall not be named.
| | | Love Rob, even his not so good stuff is still lots of fun. This song is definitely more latter-era White Zombie sounding, which I fully endorse.
| | | this is actually pretty good
| | | 2:43 to 2:55 was actually funny. The scratch bridge showing a medieval knight trying to look cool dancing like a robot and listening to a stereo cassette.
| | | Yeah, that medieval knight with the boom box made this song go from "pretty good" to "actually quite enjoyable."
Or rather what it implies about the contrast.
I find it to be extra charming when humor surfaces among a presumably dark theme or aesthetic.
| | | meh
| | | Lemme guess how this album will sound:
Starts with a low res sample from an old exploitation horror film. Fuzzy guitars and generic riffs. Unintelligible lyrics about some spooky horror girls. Another sample of some shitty 50’s horror film. Annoying snyths that barely match the music. Every song sounds the exact same.
