More modern Exodus with worse vocals. RIP Heathen.

Love both new tracks, nothing ground breaking, but solid stuff. Exodus with better vocals would be more fitting. Steve "Gollum" Souza is painful to listen to, Dukes was THE shit though.

Zetro is an acquired taste, I love his vocals, especially in Fabulous Disaster.
I only listened to parts of both singles and in fact it seems the guys have become exoinstitutionalized.

Nice mids bro

It's good but I wouldn't want or expect this modern downtuned thrash sound from Heathen.
|
| |
maybe it's just me, but unfortunately I think unless you're doing something new in the genre, thrash is kinda just stagnant at this point, especially from 30+ year old bands.
like, this track's not bad but... not great
|
| |
yeah what lloyd said
Their last one was ok and that was 10 fuckin years ago. Not expecting anything great here
|
| |
would it hurt someone to make a thrash album in E standard anytime this century
|
| |
zetro sucks and so does this guy
they need a vocalist who can distract from how generic the rest is, a guy like rob dukes or an amazing clean vocalist
|
| |
"would it hurt someone to make a thrash album in E standard anytime this century"
This. Tuning has become so obsolete it would actually sound new in 2020.
Anyway, this is entirely boring tbh. Makes me anticipate new Toxik even more.

I really hope they just picked the two worst songs to be unveiled first. Just generic thrash. Heathen is above this kind of stuff.

New Mekong Delta is a lukewarm affair, the singles from New Heathen leave much to be desired, what Korgull said.
|
| |
new mekong delta would probably be better if it was mixed better, probably one of the worst mixes i've heard for a reasonably established band
