New Anamanaguchi album 2019-08-20 by dimsim3478 | 4 Comments | Anamanaguchi are set to release [USA]--their first album in over six years--via Polyvinyl Records on 25 October 2019. The album was first announced in 2014, but a protracted delay became evident after the band missed declared release windows in 2015 and 2016. In the meantime, they collaborated with Ben Esposito on the video game Capsule Silence XXIV, released in 2016 and followed by two soundtrack albums. Anamanaguchi first debuted material from [USA] at a live show in Brooklyn on 10 November 2017, and announced in January of this year (during their performance at the virtual Fire Festival on Minecraft) that they had finished the album.

hype. hope it sounds like "pop it"
| | | I am VERY hyped. I hope that they have more guitar stuff than Endless Fantasy, but that album was still a masterclass in pop chiptune goodness. These guys always seem to deliver and it's been way too long
