So was a big fan of laugh tracks and even mistakes like fractures but for some reason the vocals on this track just bother me haha. Excited to see the track with Keith Buckley though.

The band gets barely any love. Their reception is pretty mixed like Code Orange reception is.
This is definitely better instrumentally than Laugh Tracks at some parts the more melodic bits help their sound a tiny bit. The vocalist is fine but hes unfitting towards this sound.

I, too, did not understand the appeal of this band. As a late 20's dude who did his rounds in the hardcore scene a decade ago, Laugh Tracks was nothing special on first listen.
But listen, if you don't like breakdowns, or think they are dumb, this band has nothing for you. They don't care. They don't want to impress you with amazing songwriting or technically demanding riffs.
Knocked Loose just want to make music to mosh to, music to get the crowd moving. It is not a matter of artistic integrity or skill, its just fun headbanging nonsense written by teenagers with anger issues. After being a part of that energy at a live show, i was converted.
Frankly, I can't get enough.

Laugh Tracks is sitting pretty at a 3.7. And Code Orange’s first record shits all over any Knocked Loose material

Theyre good fun and they don't pretend to be any more than that imo. The level of hate they get from some corners is amusing.

3.7 doesnt mean that there isnt a vocal distaste for this group. Only Code Orange I like is Forever due to the addition of grungy and industrial elements but even then its grown off me a bit since when it first came out.
And also Moshed hun you dont have to be super technical to be better than these guys tbh.
