this could almost be a parody of an Issues song. Also thanks to whoever fixed the link, I was having real trouble getting it to work x
| |
this does not slap
| |
why would they kick Michael out to "go in a new direction" and then just have someone else do the screams and pump out the same old shit
| |
it's a no for me
| |
Really digging this
| |
yeah that's gonna be a no from me, dawg
| |
I like it. It sounds like a better version of stuff from the debut. AJ is a better screamer than Bohn (love him in WIM, but he was only just decent with Issues), and I love the bass and guitar tone. I imagine this will be a middle of the pack song on the album to ease fans in before we get the weird shit.

Tyler's vocals are the weakest they've ever been but otherwise this is solid
| |
Gross.
| |
| |
Song is fine, but the guitarist really needs to learn another riff.
| |
i really actually liked the debut album because it was a groovier metalcore style that paired well with the soulful vocal style, but the second album didnt keep the ball rolling. i wonder if this one will bring me back to enjoying these guys.

| |
It feels like they are really holding back on this track, every section of it is just.. 'okay', Self Titled destroys this in terms of energy, composition, and delivery
| |
Yeah this sounds so flat to me.
| |
Tyler is getting boring to me as a vocalist... still butthurt they kicked Michael as he just started to evolve his vocal style and in my opinion eclipsed Tyler on the last record. His singing voice was a breath of fresh air to Tyler's. Also good to know now their excuse for kicking him out was total bullshit, considering their style hasn't changed a bit and they're still putting screaming into the material.
| |
Horrible band
| |
The new screams sound pretty similar to Michael’s too. Like if somebody listened to this track not knowing he’s not in the band anymore, they wouldn’t think anything of it.
| |
decent.
| |
| |
It's groovy, yet incredibly bland.
| |
This seems like a step back compared to the better cuts off of Headspace. Also, this mixing is horrible. Too much going on at once, not enough emphasis on any one thing.
| |
love it! The mixing has always been off ever since the conception of this band. The wonky mixing really emphasized the nu-metal of the band.
| |
I'd be surprised if this dude can play the guitar while screaming live because I'd bet not.
