WHOA new Mineral
| |
I don't know who these guys are but I liked this. It reminded me of early counting crows.
| |
End Serenading is a must listen
| |
kk I'll give it a shot
| |
Holy moly. New Mineral. His tone on the voclas isnt my favorite but the vibes are excellent.
| |
Very stoked to see them live again
| |
what year is it? I'm amazed how they can still write & sound the same 20 years later.
| |
Yeah his vocals are very different.
Song isn't mind-blowing but I can see it growing on me.
| |
v nice
| |
what in the fuck
| |
Whoa, this is an awesome surprise! Love the song, brings the heavy feels only Mineral can bring.
| |
Kind of feels like a self parody, but good. It's hard to believe we're getting new music from these guys 20 years later.
| |
“Yeah his vocals are very different. “
yea his voice isn’t rrally bad on here or anything just took me by surprise at first since they sound more like a blend of swya era chris conley, which i wasn’t initially wild about since the vocals make the old mineral albums for me but they’re fine and def don’t hurt the song which i think is fucking great
| |
I was gonna say, the vocals are definitely a change from their old albums, but it's not a bad thing at all, just not what I was expecting from Mineral. Everything else is veeeeery Mineral though.
Just checked tour dates and they're coming to Chicago, but the venue is 21+... Really considering getting a fake ID just for this.
| |
Just when I thought I'd out grown emo....
Now I have to listen to "Parking lot" and laugh at myself.
| |
I know these guys are legendary but I've never listened to them before. That was excellent.
| |
ya this came outta nowhere.
decent song; hopefully it grows / works better in the context of the album. fucking long tho
| |
excuse me, wtf?
| |
Pretty good, wasn't expecting new material from these bois
| |
I love me some mineral. Definitely gonna have to catch them on tour. They basically invented the sound that I love, and their two albums are pretty much untouchable.
| |
yayyyyyyy
| |
WHOA new minreal. How'd I not hear about this????
| |
That break from 4:30 onwards is fantastic
| |
lowkey bangs, love how long it is ^>^
| |
a big figure in one of the most prominent emo revival bands dies and then mineral steps back in? i don't know what is going on but this is promising in a way
| |
If a better emo band exists then I need to hear 'em.
They've still got it after 20 years, hats off.
| |
dog bless
| |
listen to the last 2-2.5 minutes of five eight ten and tell me he doesn't sound almost the same with better vocal mixing on the new song
| |
Ive been listening to the last 3 minutes of this on repeat for the past 3 or so days, welcome back
| |
hmm
| |
Not really feeling that other new song at all.
| |
Your Body is the World has grown on me a lot. This is the most promising emo comeback.
