Memento reunite; share new single

Los Angeles-via-Australia-based quartet Memento have reunited and recently shared their newest single, "Legacy". This is the band's first single since their 2003 debut Beginnings, whose singles included "Nothing Sacred", "Saviour", and "Coming".

Individually, the band's members have been immersed in other projects over the years, with vocalist Justin Stewart Cotta releasing a solo acoustic record and taking on several theatre roles, while guitarist Space has contributed to Digital Daggers, Hoax Party, and a multitude of other producing, composing, and songwriting credits through various labels, including Sony/ATV. Original bassist Leighton Kearns is also back in the mix.

In a Facebook video, Space announced that a second single will be released within the next few weeks, and that the band's sophomore record will be an independent release.

Great video, getting a Alter Bridge vibe from this single. I'll have to look at Beginnings when I get home.

Well Jom, I don't know the band, but I can say for certain that regardless of genre, the Australian rock/metal scene is sprawling, to the point where no newly emerging band can be safely neglected.

Not just you, Beginnings is a fantastic release. This is pretty good too, it's nice to see these guys back together sans drama.

Beginnings was an outstanding album, even more so as a debut. Cautiously hyped about this.

HOLY SHIT

I thought I was the only person who has ever heard of this band. This is crazy. 2003 Lucca is excited.
