Toto cover Weezer

2018-08-11 by dynamic range police | 28 Comments
After witnessing Weezer's cover of Toto's pop classic "Africa", the American AOR legends showed enthusiasm and appreciation for it. Turns out, friendliness wasn't their only answer. After appearing during some live shows, Toto's own cover of Weezer's "Hash Pipe" is now available for streaming on multiple services, though no YouTube yet.

The bands mutually respect each other and have a sense of humor.

I see no problem here.

It's a pretty easy song to cover, but these guys did good.

Minty talking crazy. This is some fire right here. Weezer version doesn't have a keyboard solo which automatically makes it inferior
