Pop-punk band turned Brendon Urie solo project Panic! at the Disco has released two new singles, and announced a new album titled Pray for the Wicked. The new singles, "Say Amen (Saturday Night)" and "(Fuck A) Silver Lining", continue the pop-rock sound established on Panic's previous album, Death of a Bachelor.

Preorders for the album are available at store.panicatthedisco.com, and you can check out the two new singles below:

I hate music videos like that, I want to listen to the song, but it makes me wait almost two minutes to start it and puts a ton of sounds over it. Ughhhh

Silver lining is so bad. And Saturday night sounds like a bad ripoff of hallelujah, which was the worst song on the last album. Ughhhh indeed

Weird (or not really) how both Fall Out Boy and Panic have gone down the same path with how they sound now

Only time Panic wasn't riding Fall Out Boy's sound to a large extent was when Fall Out Boy was on hiatus(not counting when Pretty Odd was made).

Hm. Not as good as Death of a Bachelor but not bad really. I'd say Panic have been way better at going pop rock than FOB have, not that that's saying a lot. You can still hear the guitar lines in Panic's stuff, their arrangements have some great strings and brass, and Brendon's voice just fits the style better than Patrick's. Plus even though they use synths, they're way less reliant on them than FOB currently is.

I always thought that Panic was better than FOB, no matter the style

FOB has been chasing trends (and failing) WAY harder then Brendon has

Anyways Saturday Night is an A+ bop and Silver Lining is just ok

I still love their first album, and even their second and third albums are decent. But ever since Brendan started cosplaying as Morrissey the “band” has become pretty awful. Ryan’s lyrics were what drew me to the band in the first place, but he is long gone.

Agreed, Panic/Brendon has been doing it better than FOB

Neither of these singles are as immediately catchy as Death of a Bachelor's debut singles (title track and Emperor's New Clothes) but they aren't bad.

I'll hold out hope, because the first single on the last album was Hallelujah which is probably my least favorite on the album.

Brendon has pretty much been exploring the same 3 subjects/sounds for the last 5 years: 1. Christianity & Gospel, 2. Vegas/LA life and 3. Theatre.

This is just the laziest iteration of that yet.

I kinda wish ETID would do a full album collab with Urie as full-time vocals, just have Buckley write all the lyrics; "It Remembers" is such a banger.

P!atD is mostly garbage.

Always thought the majority of Panic! Was shit. They had catchy songs but the vocals were just aggravating.

Didn’t have an immediate impression on me, but I’m sure it’ll be a solid/fun summer album like Bachelor was.

Saturday Night was okay, decent hook but nothing special. The other song was just annoying.

Um... source on the scat/diaper shit? Never heard that and google certainly doesn't seem to point towards this being a known fact.
