i think everyone got spoiled with Wasting Light and forgot that Foo Fighers are a chronic singles band. they'll put out generally 2 excellent songs and the rest of any given album is shit. Except Wasting Light, that album is near gold top to bottom.

Colour and the Shape is great. Even the deep cuts are good.

This song is garbage, it's way overproduced, and the sound quality is horrific.

I feel FF post-whatever the fuck that album is called with Learn to Fly on it- is their last good album, everything since except WL has been spotty. This is along the same lines.

They've overstayed their welcome. Not surprised that this is mediocre.

Not that I care too much, but for once I will express my opinion on FF: one of the most overrated acts ever.

I enjoyed Wasting Light as well. Quite a pleasant surprise, other than the terrible mastering and distortion.

I'd argue their first three albums are straight jams; after that is when they become more singles-only.

Liking this song more than "Sky..." but not sure if I like the new over-all sound.
