Returning to their dreamy rock roots yet the EP features the downright AWFUL Big Fucking Sean. Seriously?

haha yeah i hate when bands (soft/alternative rock/indie pop/whatever) like this try to feature a rapper on a song. it's always so cringe. i guess whatever it takes to sell a few more albums tho

Big Sean isn't even a good rapper. I actually think Big Sean is one of the most annoying rappers out right now lol.

A L I E N S was written with Brian Eno, so hopefully that one will pretty cool.

This is as good if not better than Hypnotised, first half of the track made me a bit wary but I'm digging this a lot more than its album counterpart even tho I enjoyed that way more than the rest of y'all

"wasn't Something Just Like This on the Chainsmokers' latest album too?"

The version on the EP is going to be a live version recorded in Tokyo.

Man why are they so frustrating. If they just stuck to this kind of sound they could be a really, really good band and still sell millions of albums. This sounds a lot like a 20 years matured version of "High Speed" or "A Rush of Blood to the Head". They still have that ear for little details, and great melodies. I mean this isn't amazing but it's pretty great, especially the first half.

And I guarantee that everything else on that fucking EP will be absolutely horrific.

Catchy song, sounds like Atlas.
They already released Something just like this and Hypnotized from this EP. They've previously featured Miracles on a soundtrack (Miracles is another good song, hope they don't ruin it here).

@Doctors, this is a different version of Miracles. Not sure if its a sequel or a completely different song but its def not the same one

I remember that they at one point said it was Miracles 2.0, so I was hoping it will be like the Lost version with Jay-Z at the most (rap really doesn't fit Coldplay). It'd be a shame if they fuck it up because Miracles is among their few new songs I can enjoy

Is no one going to talk about the fact that the drum rhythm is literally "Teardrop" by Massive Attack?

Cool song tho
