Chthonic tease new song

2017-03-11 by DatsNotDaMetulz | 13 Comments
Taiwan's premier extreme metal band, Chthonic, have released a 90 second extract from their new song, "Souls of the Revolution." The track features Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe and is set to be the soundtrack for their upcoming movie, "Souls of the Revolution." It is not yet known if the band intends to release it as part of an album or EP.

The band's activities since 2016 have slowed since frontman Freddy Lim was elected to the Legislative Yuan (parliament) of Taiwan in their last election. However, they are set to appear at Megaport Festival later this year, with Shingo of Sex Machineguns filling in on bass due to Doris Yeh recently giving birth.

These guys are excelent! The Randy Blythe feature wasn't as prominent as I would have liked, but all is good.

Sounds good to me, I can't even tell which vocals are Randy Blythe too (which is a good thing, since I don't really like him)

Didn't know these guys were still together. Always dug their eastern melodies and instrument fusion, but this track didn't do a whole lot for me.

Just threw Seediq Bale on
