Excuse me? So you're saying it's simply a coincidence that I had overwhelming thoughts about wanting to become a woman merely two weeks after my head injury? THAT, is ignorant. Not every person falls into the typical gender dysphoria case, and to try and tell me that I didn't go through a personal, mental, and emotional shitstorm because I hated myself for years due to not being the girl that I wanted to be (along with judgement from people who knew about it), is fucking disgusting.

People got butthurt and assumed that I was saying all trans people were like my particular case, which I never at all said.

If you didn't want this to persist, then you shouldn't have said that my mental illness was just for attention. That accident caused me so many mental issues (and I had to have multiple physical surgeries as well to repair my jaw, face, nose, and mouth.) I get that I'm an unusual case in the trans community (or technically was an unusual case since my desires faded away after eight years), but that's no reason to exclude me.

I do completely agree with you on this, I got way too mad in the GLOSS thread when I should have explained my situation and my perspective in a calm manner, and for that I apologize.

Therapists in recent years have told me I probably developed some rare form of Dissociative Identity Disorder from the accident, but that it's really impossible to know for sure because I didn't talk to them back then. The only reason I feel comfortable talking about how I felt that is because I don't have those feelings anymore. It literally took up a huge portion of my life, I lost multiple friends because of it, I hated myself, and just about everything I did. In all honesty a lot of my attention seeking behaviors (what I've inferred about myself and what therapists have told me) probably stemmed from whatever the hell my condition was that wanted me to switch genders. I wasn't trying to imply anything particular about anyone else in my statements in that thread, angry as I was.
