I'm fucking hyped for this. Probably gonna go to the Los Angeles date.
|
| |
I love the wiltern but I will not see you there
|
| |
I'm going to the Binghamton one. I only want to see Bad Omens, Born of Osiris, and After the Burial tho
|
| |
I'm mostly going for Asking Alexandria, I See Stars, and Bad Omens. I don't mind the other bands, but I'm not as into them as I am those three.
|
| |
"this is going to be the gayest tour ever"
"hopefully you can find some scene guy to suck your cock when you go too, since it sounds like you must be into that"
You seem a little insecure, friend. Would you like to talk about it?
|
| |
"yes"
Alright, cool. Interview time! Firstly, why do you associate the act of fellatio with mainstream metalcore?
|
| |
I have nothing against the other bands, just not my style. UABB's first two albums were pretty good tho
|
| |
Do not want
|
| |
"I don't associate it with "mainstream metalcore", just the ones who have to use shitty electronic music, auto tuned vocals, and constant chugging."
Well, I'd like to point out that regardless of your views on a band, you can't change the genre they are. Asking Alexandria is mainstream metalcore. Also, most of AA's appeal comes from the catchy riffs, and the above average vocal performance (which Denis is able to replicate live as well). Bar the standard pitch correction that most bands with vocals in every genre use, there's not too much alteration done to Denis's studio vocals bar the stylized glitches in the title track (that were shown in the video)
|
| |
If you listened to either of I See Star's last two albums, you'll have noticed that they've moved away from the previously autotuned sound of previous efforts, and now only utilize standard pitch correction. Also, the dude's able to hit some fantastic notes. I personally enjoy Denis's screams, he has great range.
|
| |
Yeah I enjoy Opeth, how come?
|
| |
Because you can't like anything that's not Opeth or you're a sheep like everyone else.
|
| |
Either way, tour's gonna rule.
Hyped as fuck. I See Stars always puts on a great light show as well, so I'm pumped for that.
|
| |
Lmao being at college sucks cause no one comes here. everyone goes to the venue close to my house which is now 5 hours away.
|
| |
Whose alt troll account is this
|
| |
Damn, TheJoyOfMotion is the first person I've heard in a long time to use gay as an insult.
Must be nice to still be 15.
|
| |
Whose alt troll account is this [2]
|
| |
Born of Osiris is probably there purely to raise the mean avg of the bands on the tour, that way they won't all just spontaneously combust by being near each other.
|
| |
Is there even a single member on this site that cares about this band?
|
| |
"Is there even a single member on this site that cares about this band?"
Quite a few actually, myself included.
|
| |
Their second album was pretty fun tbh, and their latest was decent for the first half
|
| |
TheJoyOfMotion was at like 10 comments 2 days ago and has been spouting nothing but shit insults in every post I've seen.
In other news, Crabcore.
|
| |
"10 years in the Black"
Sounds like a porno
|
| |
this shit gay as fuck
|
| |
haven't been into AA since I was 12 or some crap like that
|
| |
The only AA tour I'll be excited for is their farewell tour.
|
| |
see you guys in the pit on november 16th
|
| |
the circlejerk pit lol
|
| |
This was announced so long ago lol
|
| |
i just want to be touched
|
| |
"Haven't been into AA since I was 12 or some crap like that."
How old are you?
|
| |
Still 12 lol
He'll be there on the 16th of November too.
|
| |
read this as "Asking Alexandria Deicide Tour" for a second.
|
| |
If you didn't laugh multiple times during this tour promo video, I'm judging your music taste.
|
| |
"I'm judging your music taste"
Judge away
|
| |
I guess people are still into this band (AA)? Born of Osiris was really good on The Discovery and A Higher Place, but other than that...?
Not trv metal
xD
|
| |
How did this band even start in Dubai? That place is a shithole unless you are a Saudi Oil lord.
|
| |
@BlackMalachite, was 12 when Stand Up came out, friend showed them to me and thought wow this is great, oh well we all make mistakes, don't actually find their music all that bad, just average.
@Impervious Ow what a burn lol
|
| |
Cringy new users being cringy af.
|
| |
is there a site like sputnik that focuses only on metal and not this screamo shit? id like to sign up
|
| |
@Trailmix: Yeah I wasn't directing that at you in an insulting way, I was legitimately curious. I first started jamming these guys in 2010 when Stand Up and Scream was in the peak of its popularity, and I was 16/17 then basically (am 23 now)
|
| |
"is there a site like sputnik that focuses only on metal"
can't tell if you're joking or not because this is a pretty metal-heavy site. Most of these core bands get lots of ratings but relatively lower average scores.
|
| |
wait there are people on sputnik who care about this band??
|
| |
"wait there are people on sputnik who care about this band??"
I've been on here since 2010.
|
| |
"i bet BlackMalachite wears eyeliner and skinny jeans that show off his flat ass that's right below his tight fitting Asking Alexandria shirt that is eventually taken off when his scene boyfriend wants to lick peanut butter off his tits"
I mean, one of my exes like four years ago licked peanut butter off of my dick because it was one of her fetishes, but I don't think I'd go that far fam.
|
| |
snide you spelled binghamton wrong
|
| |
@Joy: I was 19 four years ago, not 11.
@Snake: Fucking Lmao
|
| |
it's okay that city is a literal dumpster fire anyway
|
| |
New York is a dumpster fire of a state so I'm not really surprised that there's dumpster fires within a dumpster inferno
|
| |
nah there's really dope parts upstate
|
| |
I mean honestly I've only been to four or five cities in that state, so I hope that's true.
Worst state I've ever been to hands down though is Kansas.
|
| |
Come to Pennsylvania snide we have confederate flags and hillbillies riding four wheelers all year long it's like the circus
|
| |
I've actually wanted to legitimately revisit Pennsylvania for a while now, I only went once as a small child to visit my great grandma, but I remember there being some sort of Hershey's related theme park there or something.
|
| |
Hershey Park is great.
|
| |
I want to go to that again. Hershey Park looks like a ton of fun, I was told I went as a child, but I can't remember it, bar a view very small memories of seeing one of the roller coasters out of an apartment window.
|
| |
Binghamton is a literal dumpster fire can confirm
|
| |
You're welcome dad
